For the first 2-3 months after ablation some people have afib, but it’s different and is caused by inflammation from disrupting the heart. Doctors may offer medications during that time.
But if you’re having afib more than 3 months after ablation, talk with your doctor about what to do.
Also, is there any chance of sleep apnea setting up afib?
