Dr. Chinitz: An innovator in ablation and stroke prevention

Internationally renowned in the management of heart rhythm disorders

As I look over the names of our distinguished faculty members for this year’s Get in Rhythm. Stay in Rhythm.® Virtual Atrial Fibrillation Patient Conference and the topics they’re covering, I’m newly inspired about what a gift this conference is to the afib community.

It’s such a wonderful opportunity for people living with afib to become educated and empowered to get the best possible treatment.

Some of you may be wondering if the conference is worth your time, and we want you to know that we’ve heard from so many attendees each year that they heard life-changing information there. In fact, those who attended previous conferences are always among the first to register.

They come to hear experts of the highest caliber, like powerhouse Larry Chinitz, MD, FHRS. He is Clinical Director in Cardiology at NYU Langone Health, and we couldn’t be more pleased to welcome him, a pioneer in afib, to the conference for the first time this year.

Dr. Chinitz is internationally renowned in the management of heart rhythm disorders. His current research focuses on the development of novel technologies for use in catheter ablation and investigation of medications for irregular heartbeats.

Dr. Chinitz is a leader and innovator in catheter ablation and devices for stroke prevention. Hearing the very latest from him is a rare opportunity.

On Saturday, October 31, Dr. Chinitz, who is frequently the principal investigator of catheter ablation trials, will discuss one of the newest catheter ablation innovations, pulsed field ablation (PFA), which stops afib without damaging surrounding tissue. Research indicates that it may be more effective than current approaches, because it is so precise. He’ll also discuss left atrial appendage closure devices, such as the WATCHMAN, Lariat, and other new devices, for prevention of afib-related strokes.

When you register for the Get in Rhythm. Stay in Rhythm.® Virtual Atrial Fibrillation Patient Conference, you’ll get to hear directly from experts like Dr. Chinitz.
